These Terms govern your use of the ZOEY. app provided by Nicholas Johnson-Pope. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create your own account. Children may use ZOEY. only through a Child account created and managed by a parent or guardian within a Family plan. For a child under 13, the parent or guardian must provide consent as described in our Notice to Parents before the Child account is created, agrees to these Terms on the child's behalf, and is responsible for the child's use of the app.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Don't share your account credentials with others outside your Family plan.

Subscriptions & billing

• ZOEY. offers Free, Premium ($6.99/month or $69.99/year), and Family ($9.99/month or $99.99/year) subscription tiers.
• Paid subscriptions are auto-renewing, billed through your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's subscription settings. Charges already billed are generally non-refundable except where required by law or app-store policy.
• We may change pricing with notice; existing subscribers keep their current rate until renewal.

Your content

You retain ownership of the pet information, photos, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the app for you and users you share with. You're responsible for having the right to upload anything you add, and you agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.

Family & social features

When you invite family members or share pets with keepers, you agree to share certain pet and activity information with those users. Family account owners are responsible for managing access, ensuring appropriate use by family members including minors, and providing any parental consent required for a child's account.

User reviews & Places

Reviews you post about Places, keepers and providers are public and may be viewed by other users. Reviews must be based on genuine experiences and must not contain false, defamatory, or inappropriate content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app. This includes: attempting to break security or access others' accounts; interfering with the service; using the app for unlawful purposes; posting spam, fake reviews, or misleading content; or harassing other users.

Intellectual property

The ZOEY. app, its design, features, and content (excluding your uploads) belong to Nicholas Johnson-Pope and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "ZOEY." and the ZOEY. logo are trademarks of Nicholas Johnson-Pope.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ZOEY. is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Health scores, reminders, and other features are informational tools only. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your pet's health needs.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nicholas Johnson-Pope is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any decisions made based on information in the app.

Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, with notice where practicable.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes will be communicated through the app. We'll update the "Last updated" date above.
